Thank you for your interest in teaching at our Recreation Center! We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors to lead a wide variety of classes and programs for our community. Our facility offers fitness equipment, multipurpose rooms, an e-sports space, and athletic courts. As part of our Parks and Recreation Department, we aim to provide engaging, high-quality programs that enrich the lives of participants of all ages.

We are seeking instructors for classes in:

Wellness & Fitness: Yoga, Pilates, strength training, and other wellness-focused programs.
Creative & Craft: Art, DIY, knitting, and other hands-on crafts.
Hobby & Leisure: Dance, cooking, photography, gardening, and other hobby-based activities.
Educational & Skill-building: Language learning, technology, financial literacy, and more.
Athletics & Sports: Team sports, martial arts, e-sports, and skill development.

We welcome proposals for unique and innovative classes that reflect your expertise and engage our community. We expect to start our classes in spring 2025. We will reach out with next steps as we begin building out our facility schedules!

Instructor Guidelines & Expectations

The Instructor Guidelines outline the classifications of instructors, pay structures, and overall requirements for teaching with White House Parks and Recreation. These guidelines ensure consistency, quality programming, and a clear understanding of expectations for all instructors.
