Sealed Bids for the project entitled WILKINSON PUMP STATION Project will be received by the City of White House at 2:30 p.m. local time on August 11th, 2025, at 105D College Street, White House, Tennessee 37188 and then publicly opened and read aloud.

The project generally includes the installation of 1 Wastewater Pump Station, 275 linear feet of 8” sewer main, mainline connections, valves, and related appurtenances.

Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained from CSR Engineering, located at 2010 Hwy 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146, upon payment of $100.00 for each digital set, emailed or made available on a disk drive. There will be no refund to any party for Bid Documents so obtained. No bids will be received by parties not on the official bid list consequent to obtaining official Bid Documents.

A certified check or cashier’s check payable to the City of White House or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of Tennessee to execute such Bonds in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

The Bid deposit shall be retained by the City of White House if the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract or fails to provide the required Bonds, as stated above, within ten (10) days after award of the Contract. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House.

Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of Tennessee as provided in T.C.A. 62-6-101. The Bidder’s name, license number, expiration date, and that part of the contracting classification applying to the Bid shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not be opened.

The City of White House reserves the right to reject any or all Bid proposals and to waive all informalities. A conditional or qualified BID will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive BIDDER.

 


 

Sealed Bids for the project entitled BATTERY POWERED EXTRICATION TOOLS Bid #51040-26-01 will be received by the City of White House at 2 p.m. local time, August 26, 2025 in the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center, 105D College Street, White House, TN 37188, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid Documents and Specifications are online at www.whitehousetn.gov/purchasing or may be obtained from the Purchasing Manager’s office in City Hall.

Sealed envelopes must be labeled with bidder's name, bid #51040-26-01 and Battery Powered Extrication Tools.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bids received, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid or bids which, in its opinion, may be in its best interest.

Sealed Bids for the project entitled COVINGTON BEND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT will be received by the City of White House at 2 p.m. local time, August 11th, 2025, in the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center, 105D College Street, White House, TN 37188, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Pre-bid questions will be received formally in writing via post or email until COB (Call of Business) August 1st at CSR Engineering, Inc., 2010 Hwy. 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146 (c/o Jason Reynolds) or email at jason.reynolds@csrengineers.com.

The project generally consists of grading and installation (as replacement) of approximately 572 feet of RCP stormwater mains, endwalls, catchbasins and necessary roadway repairs, yard and fencing repairs, final stabilization and associated miscellaneous work all along existing pipe alignment and stormwater easements in the City of White House, TN.

Copies of the Bid Documents may be examined and obtained via CSR Engineering, located at 2010 Hwy 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146, upon payment of $50.00 for each digital set, emailed or made available on a disk drive. There will be no refund to any party for Bid Documents so obtained. No bids will be received by parties not on the official bid list consequent to obtaining official Bid Documents.

No bid bond is required on this project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House.

Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of Tennessee as provided in T.C.A. 62-6-101. The Bidder’s name, license number, expiration date, and that part of the contracting classification applying to the Bid shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not be opened.

Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each Bidder shall make positive efforts and are encouraged to use small and minority owned business enterprises on this project.

The City of White House reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any presented which meet or exceed these specifications, and/or which would be in the best interest of the City and will not necessarily be bound to accept the low bid.
